Ascent Trip ReportWith all of the recent rains/storms/floods, I needed to get a quick hike in at the first sign of sunshine. I parked near the trailhead at the corner of Cannon and E Patria Ct (street parking only). It's only about 4 tenths of a mile to the top, but it's relatively steep most of the way. And with the heavy rains the previous 2 days, a lot of the trail was pretty washed out and still muddy, and even running water in some spots. But post storm, the views are extremely clear for long distances; downtown Los Angeles was even visible. Then back the way I came, trying not to slide down in the mud in some spots.
