Ascent Trip ReportNice easy drive down county roads from I-80 at the Wyoming/Nebraska border. Pay $3 at the High Point Bison Ranch gate and drive along a short path to the High Point. (Note - you MUST drive as there are bison grazing along the path). A small stone monument, bench, and register (w/ desk) found at the top. On the way back, had to stop and wait about 10 minutes for a portion of the herd of bison to move off of the path so I could drive through! |
