Ascent Trip Report

Access: This is a simple drive-up peak suitable for any car. It is in Custer State Park so there is a price for admission.

The Climb: All you need to do is get out of your car. There is a lookout on top with excellent views of Black Elk Peak and the Crazy Horse Monument.

My Thoughts: Coolidge Mountain really isn't special in any way, but if you are visiting Custer State Park it is worth driving up for the views.

I am always looking for climbing partners, so if you are based in or around northern Idaho feel free to contact me.
