Ascent Trip ReportBeing surprised how bad the road to Lunch Peak was and having no information about an alternative way up to the ridge, I drove to the Lake Darling TH and walked a ways on the trail toward the lake, hoping to find a trail up to the ridge. It turns out there are two, but not finding either I saw what seemed like fairly good terrain above me and just went up the east ridge of Point 6632, over the various bumps along the way. Some nice, open areas and some not-so-nice brushy, treed sections. Going over the rocky top of 6632 I descended to the ridge trail running on the west side and walked south to Lunch Peak and then back north to Mount Pend Oreille. I descended from Mount Pend Oreille via the trail to Lake Darling which seemed rather neglected. The trail from the lake to the road seems like it gets fairly heavy use.
