Ascent Trip Report

Forgive my GPS Track I recored an extra mile on the drive out as I always do. Aside from that it's a good track to follow on a slog of a hike. Mokelumne is a very straightforward hike. Head south to Lower Bear Creek reservoir and follow signs to the tanglefoot trailhead. From there you have a 16 mile day ahead of you with roughly 600' of elevation loss when you reach a giant canyon (you'll gain and lose this twice). It's not the most fun to lose the elevation knowing you have to come out of it at the end of the day. Have fun!!!
