Ascent Trip ReportFrom Bedford Peak, descended the steep, loose use trail on the east side and returned to Main Divide Road. Took Main Divide to the firebreak up to the top of 3840, which is now very overgrown and best described as a use trail. The displaced benchmark is still up there. Great views of Modjeska Peak and, in the other direction, all the big SoCal mountain ranges peeking up out of some low clouds. I descended the opposite side of the peak, which was a mistake as the use trail disappeared quickly (or I was just on the wrong trail) and some heavy bushwhacking was required to regain Main Divide Road.
