Ascent Trip ReportParked at the Santiago Oaks County Park at end of Windes Drive and paid the $3 entry fee. I could have parked at the elementary school at Serrano Avenue and Kendra Drive.
With the lack of shade along the trail, this could get hot mid-day during the summer.
From the parking lot, headed up Santiago Creek Trail and then up Oak Trail until reaching the Anaheim Hills Overlook summit which was marked by a cross of white rocks on the ground. From there, headed to Robbers Peak, which had great views all around. Headed back to the car along the Barham Ridge Trail to a lookout and then descended a steep trail near the dam returning to the car about 90 minutes after my start. This was a nice evening hike.
