Ascent Trip ReportRained pretty hard the night before so lower 2/3 of the trail was muddy. Last mile is where all the hard work is. Trail is mostly bare rock or roots that form steps from the erosion. Tower sneaks up on you, and if you are brave the view from the top is breath-taking. No mesh on the rails so it's a bit tentative going up, plus the wind picks up as you climb the steps. #5 in the FTC.
