Ascent Trip ReportApproached from the head of Ice Gulch via the Peek and Cook Paths. I should have headed northerly across the pass and approached from the SE but instead started out more northwesterly which caused me to deal with a much steeper climb. My course correction had me climbing a rocky, blowdown infested slope to gain the ridge though that did little to alleviate the blowdown issue, which I could never fully shake. For it's distance, this climb was much tougher than expected. |
