Ascent Trip Report

Black Mountain Traverse: Hiked solo from the Mt. Mitchell parking lot to Celo Knob along the Black Mountain Crest Trail and returned to the summit of Mount Mitchell. 14 mile hike took approximately 6.5 hours. Extremely rough terrain.
