Ascent Trip Report

Hike with Eve Engnoth on a nice Tuesday- early start. Great (short) summit! Scattered clouds and blue sky- perfect weather. Alone on the summit for at least an hour, encountered 3 other groups on the way down. Bear Grass, Lupine, Primroses and Paint Brush (amoung others) Blooming. Glacier/Daniels and Stuart to the North and East, good views of Rainier to the South. Drove up to recently opened Chinook Pass. Wapiti Woolies and Cafe down from them on the way back.
