Peaks: Mount Baden-Powell (9,399'), Ross Mountain (7,402'), and Circle Mountain (6,880+') in that order with a drive between BP/Ross Mountain and Circle Mountain trailheads. BP and Ross Mountain were part of the official HPS hike, while Circle Mountain was done on my own.
Stats: 15.5 miles, +5800' gain
(1) BP and Ross Mountain = 13.5 mi RT, +5000' gain via Vincent Gap (HPS Route 1)
(2) Circle Mountain = 2 mi RT, +800' gain
Start = 8:40 AM
Summit of Ross = 12:15 PM (3 hr 35 min from Vincent Gap trailhead)
Back to Vincent Gap trailhead = 4:15 PM
Finished Circle Mountain and at car = 6:00 PM
Total time (car-to-car for BP/Ross only): 7 hr 35 min
Total time for the day (including Circle and car ride between BP/Ross and Circle): 9 hr 20 min
****Note: The ridgeline leading down from Baden-Powell to Ross Mountain is a fairly good use trail (easy to follow the whole way). However, it is mostly exposed to the sun, so Ross Mountain is best done on an overcast day or like what we had (some sun, but windy along the ridgeline).
