|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||4120 ft / 1255 m|
Ascent Trip ReportThis was an add-on hike after ascending nearby Silver Star Mtn. I ascended from the south (the north and east faces are cliffs composed of vertical basalt columns) along what began as a faint climbers' trail. The trail eventually disappeared, and I scrambled up a rocky incline until gaining the crest of the rock at the western edge.
I ascended to the summit (near the east end) along the crest to be sure to cross the county line at the HP of Clark County. I descended via a noticeable trail just to the south of the western end of the rock.
Note: Be careful along the top of this rock, as a stumble near the cliff faces could be fatal.
