Ascent Trip ReportParked at Charleton Flats Picnic Ground. Hiked up the road to Vetter, with a side trip to a PB bump. Took the road and trail down. Jim Fleming was at the Lookout with two new volunteer trainees. Beautiful spring day with blue skies, white clouds and wildflowers. We saw no one on the way up, but on the way down we passed a huge Boy Scout group having a great time on their way up. Nice to see the kids outdoors. The trail is a bit overgrown and needs some trimming, and there are lots of downed trees.
The yuccas are still in full bloom along Angeles Forest Highway and Big Tujunga Canyon. Litterly hundreds of them.
