Ascent Trip Report

Short bushwhack west in the woods off NC 128 starting about .2 miles downhill from the top parking lot in Mount Mitchell State Park. Stamped around a bit to find the highest ground, which actually appeared to be a cluster of thick spruce. No views from here. May be some further down the ridge, but the fog was so thick I could not even see the road until close to the right of way.
