Ascent Trip Report

Though we'd been anticipating rain it turned out clear on the day of the hike, though the trails were still sticky with mud from rain the day before, at least lower down on the mesa. Higher up the ground is more rocky. The views across the plateau are expansive the higher you climb, and it's worth following the rim once on top for the best views (or at least on the return as we did). '

There's a picnic table just as you top out at about 8050', before the last mile plus to the high point. The red can register is still there with many familiar names.
