Ascent Trip Report

Part of a multi day hiking with the HPS during the Spring Fling. Camped overnights at the Keller Ski Hut.

Day 1: White Mtn & South Peak (HPS route 1); Delamar Mtn; Little Bear Peak.

Little Bear Peak: Moved the vehicles a couple miles to the TH. Good trail. There were some snags to get around. One of the bumps just before the summit came across a rattler (most of the 23ish group had already passed so probably got impatient with hikers ;). Gave it wide berth. Great views from this peak. some boulders to climb near the summit for fun photo ops. signed the register; stayed about 15 min. As we all had to get back to the potluck at the keller ski hut.
