|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||7450 ft / 2270 m|
Ascent Trip ReportSnowstorms and fresh snow the day before provided for a layer of soft snow to hike up on top of some hard consolidated snow
It was quite a hot day at the mountains, we hiked up the base of the ascent and put on crampons and traversed on the rocks to the summit rock.
Some sections had to be traversed with care as it was steep but run out was good
Spent some time at the summit and some of us took th rocks back and some of them descended straight down
Hike back was uneventful. Lot of skiers on Muir and some even coming up to cowlitz while we were heading out
Overall 5.45 hours trip
