| Elevation:||9256 ft / 2821 m|
Ascent Trip ReportThe Bill Williams trail was fairly moderate in slope (average slope of only 600 ft/mile), but the trail was made a little more challenging this time by a fair number of fallen trees blocking the path in places, and also by some isolated snow patches.
While a great view was to be had at the lookout tower at the summit, the summit experience overall was somewhat disappointing due to equipment and trees blocking views from the natural summit, and swarms of ladybugs that pestered all people on the summit.
Also, note there is a sign at trailhead, and another one a half mile into the trail that states incorrectly that the total distance from trailhead to summit is 3 miles instead of 4.
