Ascent Trip Report

This was part of a loop from Mount Si, Haystack climb, then Mount Teneriff.

There was snow a few hundred feet from the submit of Mount Si. Used Micro spikes for most of the day after that point (not climbing Haystack of course).

Finally climbed Haystack after all the years being a bit of a chicken and turning back until I got to the top in the past. The rock was not very solid and it I was a bit nervous.

After completing the Haystack climb, we went on the connecting trail to Mount Teneriff. This trail dumped off on a a new trail for Mount Teneriff which looked like an old logging road at one time. Took that to a view point and turned right up a ridge to Mount Teneriff.

After having lunch at the top and taking in more great views we started to head down to the falls. It was a bit slippery on the old trail to the falls with quite a bit of snow that was icy and unstable with mud underneath. Spring Snow is not the best here.

After enjoying the falls. Headed on a trail back to Mount Si Parking lot.
