Ascent Trip Report

Set out with the intention of only climbing Stonewall, but we decided to climb Little Stonewall as well upon seeing how close it was to the main trail. We turned out to be mistaken; there were two similar looking granite blocks which we thought was Little Stonewall, but it was actually an unrelated feature. Started hiking at 11:00 and made the summit before noon. A slight breeze occasionally felt on the way up became a substantial wind at the exposed summit. Did a little bit of scrambling on the rocks near the summit and got pictures before heading back down towards what we thought was Little Stonewall. We bushwhacked out to the granite blocks and did a little rock climbing, but when we found no register we became aware of our mistake. We'll be back for the real Little Stonewall soon.
