Ascent Trip Report

Started from pole canyon. Original plan was to skin up below champagne couloir and assess. Due to miscommunication, we ended up a canyon too far from pole canyon (Jones canyon) we followed the slide path and canyon to wolf pass, where we continued on the NE ridge. Ridge was semi technical and heavily corniced, but easy enough. Greg opted out after some steep frontpointing in a no-fall zone. Logan and I continued to the top of champagne where we dropped in. Summit was only 100 ft away and after ~58° snow. Would have been a cakewalk to tag, but I was more set on skiing champagne couloir and NW Couloir before the snow started avalanching.. the couloir was incredible! 45°, sustained, beautiful, with an apron finish. Went up NW couloir after champagne. Also spectacular.
