Ascent Trip ReportParked on Sunnycrest Drive at the Doubletree Connector trailhead. Followed a fireroad up to a ridge and then down into Palo Comado Canyon. Crossed a small creek and turned right (south) and proceeded a little over 500 feet to a quick left (east) turn up the Ranch Center Trail. Good signage. Followed this fireroad steeply up to the ridge separating Palo Camado and Cheeseboro Canyons. At the ridge, turned right (south) and up to the summit. Very clear and windy on top. Wildflowers starting to emerge. Views out to the snow covered San Gabriel Mountains. No register located, but a "LA County Survey Control Systems" witness benchmark, stamped 1968 and marked "Seminole I3" had an arrow pointing south. This area recently burned and is now recovering.
