Ascent Trip ReportModerately easy trail climb from the east side ..... 6.8 miles, 3 1/2 hour RT.
Located northwest of Plymouth at Stinson Lake. From Hwy #25 at Rumney, drive north through Rumney, around the west side of Lake Stinson, for 11.3km to the TH parking on the left. The summit is west of the TH.
Follow the Three Ponds Trail for half a mile to a left turn on Carr Mountain Trail. The wooded summit has 4 large old foundations, scramble up to a number of rock bumps for partial views (not on this clouded-in day).
