Ascent Trip Report

Started at the gate on Ravine Lodge Road, road hiked up to the trailhead using microspikes, then started on the trail using microspikes, but quickly switched to snow shoes. The monorail was in good shape with a few post holes present. Light snow all day and extremely windy and overcast at the peak. Cairn to cairn above tree line. Just touched the peak and headed back down. Jack's first 4K! Ali has 3 seasons of Moosilauke under her belt and Di's second ascent and first snowshoe to a 4K, lots of firsts today! Just round tripped and blew off heading to south peak because we got a late start.
