Ascent Trip ReportWashington and Monroe from Ammonoosuc trailhead. A few pointers:
-$10 to park, bring cash
-Trail is kinda steep from gem pool up to the hut but nothing wild for the whites.
-Bring an ice axe and crampons for this walk. Not even joking. I've only needed my 12 pointers once in the 97 winter summits, and they kinda saved me from a broken arm fall in the wind |
