Ascent Trip Report

Started up the Falling Waters trail at 3:45AM with Jake Smigiel. The weather was clear and not too chilly until we hit summit. At summit the winds were whipping. Another climber said he recorded it at 70mph, but I don't know how he gauged that. Got to watch a beautiful sunrise and then returned back to the car, probably around 8:45.

The trails was in terrific condition! We used spikes most of the way, and only had to strap on the snowshoes over a couple of drift areas in the higher sections. Great climb!
