| Date: | Saturday, January 26, 2019 | Ascent Type: | Successful Summit Attained | Peak: | Rabia Benchmark | Location: | USA-Arizona | Elevation: | 3727 ft / 1135 m |
Ascent Trip ReportWe went up the drainage southeast of the peak, achieving the main crest south of peak 3695, then exited going down the east ridge. Rocky and brushy, but little scrambling necessary. The roads in require strong 4-wheel drive and high clearance.
Benchmark on summit is stamped "RABLA". Possibly a mashup of the letters in SierRA BLAnca, the range's name. The USGS benchmark website does not list this benchmark.
Hike involves a lot of up and down to get past arroyos and ridge bumps.
