Ascent Trip ReportThis whole time I thought it was called Bish Bash and now I've realized it's Bashbish.
This was our third summit of our three summit day. For more details on this trip check out my reports of Alander Mountain and Alander Mountain-Southwest Ridge.
Icy conditions but fairly easy ridge walk over to Bashbish. We decided (finally) to don the micro spikes shortly after descending Alander Mountain. Bashibish Mountain's summit is right on the South Taconic Trail. There is a downed pine tree at the summit.
On the way back we took a closed trail that heads into MA. This trail is not preferred. We were doing this trail to try to make this more of a loop hike. You're better off doing an out-and-back.
