Ascent Trip Report

Amazing day up South Lone. We started at Schoolhouse TH in Alpine. Summited in just under 4 hrs, 5 miles and 6000 ft vert gain. A bit windy on the final summit push, but the sun broke through and wind calmed. Ski down was amazing. 3200ft of untouched stable powder. Went for a 2md lap up Bighorn. Turned around before summit due to steeper angle and time constraints.
