Ascent Trip ReportHad the incredible luck to run into and join a group of backpackers (including John Zahorian, Amanda Timeoni, and Anthony Ottati) starting out from Towne Pass on a five day trip. I tagged along until the summit of Towne Benchmark, then we went our separate ways. It was snowing and quite windy near the top. I descended the other side of the ridge a ways to see the airplane crash site, then backtracked all the way back to Towne Pass. |
