Ascent Trip Report

6.1.2019 - Mynydd Llangyndeyrn, Pen Crug Melyn and Mynydd Cynros.
This was a day out to do three Marilyns in the SW area of Wales.
Mynydd Llangyndeyrn 263m: This is just NW of Ponteberem on the B4309. There is a small lay-by at the start location big enough for one vehicle. This peak is in essence some common land nestled in between good farming country but it is quite historic with quite a lot to see here in the way of a standing stone, stone circles and a burial chamber. There are a myriad ways to the top to see everything, simply put just follow my gpx trail or make your own route. I didn’t get to see the burial chamber (we were in a rush) but we got to see the rest.
Route Summary: Nice little lumpy common with small historic antiquity sites.
Route Statistics: 2.6km with 76m of height gain in 38mins.
