| Elevation:||2461 ft / 750 m|
Ascent Trip ReportThis is likely to my last peak of 45 hiked in 2018. Not terribly difficult or of stunning views, it was very satisfying nonetheless. This is a pretty easy bushwhack especially in winter as its mostly open hardwood forest. Reach the access at a small turnoff on the left at the end of the maintained portion of West Woodbury Road (the west side of the mountain). Follow a logging road a few hundred yards and then turn left at the marked snow machine trail. Take the next logging road on the right and head for the ridge.
There are some lovely small meadows on the ridge and obstructed views to the east including Greenwood Lake. For comedy there are some relocated highway signs at the summit and a very attractive boxed trail register.
A pleasant short hike of about 3 miles.
