Ascent Trip Report

HP#3 of 10 for this trip. Really wanted to hike Area 1 behind Honeyhole Outfitters on Mill Pond Road to summit the 28m contour in the woods. Glad we called them first as Friday is their biggest hunting day.

75 acres, 110 hunters. We would likely have been targets. Sundays are best if you want to summit here. The owners are good folks and will certainly work with you. As an alternative, we summited Area 6 with the same height, just east of Hobgood, NC on a large root ball in the vacant lot next to the home located at 1010 NC 125.
