Ascent Trip ReportIf in a low-clearance 2wd car would highly recommend approaching from the East and highway 188 instead of the west, from highway 87. Few rock crawly moments when driving the 18 miles from highway 87. The 10 miles to highway 188 are in comparison easy, although a bit steep.
Second party on the trail, first to summit. Frost covering many surfaces and most of the rock in the early morning. (quite slippy) Traces of ice/snow in the scramble up. No issues summiting, but doubt it'll be accessible for much longer for this season.
Beyond the 4km approach trail the chute is largely class 2/3 with two moves of class 4. You could easily force this to be > 5 if thats your bag.
Summit register is in an empty jar of kimchee.
