Ascent Trip ReportWe initially tried to take Pierpont Rd west from Old US 60 in Cotton Center but there was a locked gate about a 1 mile in. We then drove 9 miles north on Old US 60 to cross the Gila River via the old truss bridge and then turn south on Enterprise Rd to the trailhead. We parked on BLM land and never crossed any private property on the hike. The climb itself was pretty straight forward. We picked a drainage up to the main ridge and then stayed on top of the rocky ridge to avoid cholla dotted slopes. We encountered a couple of low class 3 scramble sections along the ridge but nothing tricky.
