|Date:||Thursday, November 22, 2018|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
|Peak:||Skippers Range High Point|
| Location:||New Zealand|
| Elevation:||5407 ft / 1648 m|
Ascent Trip ReportApproached via pyke/big bay track to olivine hut. Crossed the cable car and walked 2km upstream. Crossed the pyke river early in the morning and bushwhacked up to the east ridge. Very intense bushwhacking, likely the only person to approach via east side. Fortunately had GPS tracks from Rob Woodall's ascent when his party landed on the west ridge. Used crampons about 300m below the summit - still a bit of snow & ice.
