Ascent Trip Report

This was a very strange highpoint. Artski and I rode our motorcycles up Johnson Hill and parked at a gate within the highest contour that lead to a logging trail. However, there was a house just a few hundred feet to the north, so we had thought we should go ask permission. Sound was coming from a camper trailer, and a dog ran out barking at us. It was rather scary, but the dog didn't harm us. A man and a strangely dressed woman came out of the camper and asked us what we wanted. We told them we wanted to to into the woods a few hundred feet to go to the highpoint, which appeared to be right near a tree stand. He thought we were nuts, but the feeling was mutual. He let us go, and after a quick pace about the woods, we couldn't determine where the highest point was, but we were sure we had been there.
