Ascent Trip Report

Started at the junction of Pinyon and Nolina Jeep Roads. Went up Big Horn Canyon to the sheep guzzler, then got up on the ridge just east of the guzzler and followed it up to the peak. Lion tracks up Bighorn and recent deer kill at the guzzler and some old sheep kills. My plan for the hike back was to drop into Nolina Canyon from the ridge and follow Nolina out. But Leslie pooped out on the way up the ridge. She waited on me while I continued up and down. Since the point where she waited was below where I would have taken a branch of the ridge down into Nolina I elected to just follow Bighorn back out. Leslie had had enough of the ridge travel anyway.
