Ascent Trip ReportFourth trip, one time for each season. Trail was wet but not really muddy. Some "crushy" type ice on the side of the trails. Raining the entire time. Foggy and misty, so the ruins looked really spooky. Total white out from the ledge section and tower. Couldn't even see the cabin/museum from the tower it was so thick. Trail "traffic" started to pick up as the morning progressed. Head back along the ledge ridge, looking over to see if I could find the plane crash. It is supposedly about 500 feet from the cabin. I didn't see anything, but going over those ledges would be treacherous. There is one spot where I think you could get down, but I was solo and wouldn't chance it alone.
