Ascent Trip ReportLooking at the maps it appeared there was trail access off a shoulder of the road with a quick approach. The girls not desiring a long hike, this proved to be the best way, and as we rounded the last curve in the road, there it was - a trail and enough space to park about 2 cars.
With dusk coming, we quickly made our way up the .4 miles to the summit with significant thunder in proximity. We didn’t stick around long, which turned out to be a good idea as it started to pour down hard right as we neared the vehicle.
