Ascent of Devil's Castle on 2018-09-24
|Date:||Monday, September 24, 2018|
|Ascent Type:||Successful Summit Attained|
| Elevation:||10920 ft / 3328 m|
Ascent Trip ReportFrom the Albion Basin Campground, the ridge is remarkably easy to get to. I went E to W, first attaining the ridge just below 10864. By and large I found the routefinding not too bad, and the limestone is lovely to bounder on. You can see one area on the map that I tried to traverse rather than go up, and ended up doubling back. It would have been easier to just climb. It took me 1:03 from when I hit the ridge to where the trail descends to Cecret lake. I continued on along the ridge as far as Red Baldy before dropping down to White Pine.
