Ascent Trip ReportLVMC trip led by Eric Kassan. After a night at a very packed Horseshoe Meadows, we carried backpacks into Cottonwood Lake #3 using the Cottonwood Lakes Trail, set up camp, then headed up Old Army Pass to Mount Langley. After the summit, we returned to spend the night at the lake, then backpacked out the next day (going from Lake #3 to New Army Pass trail on the return)after a leisurely morning. My Gaia GPS and Caltopo put the first day at 14.76 miles and 4440 ft, with 6 miles of that backpacking. This was a terrific list-finish for me of the LVMC Classic 50 Peaks, thanks to the generosity and good wishes of this terrific group.
