Ascent Trip Report

Okay. So I missed the Monument when I climbed on the 18th so I had to go back. I started about 9 a.m. and it was already warm. You can refer to the 9/18/2018 ascent, as trail conditions barely changed. Air was a little hazier and I did find the Monument this time around. I didn't quite read the trail signs correctly and found myself on a different trail leading back to the Japacha Trailhead. There should have been another trail leading back to Arroyo Seco and/or Japacha Peak. In any case, it was a very dry hike and I went through about six quarts of water that day, another reason I did not try for Japacha Peak on that ascent.
