Ascent Trip ReportAcclimatization hike for Arizona trip. Woke up at sea level, left house at 4:30, left trailhead at 9. Followed the PCT out and back, a nicely graded easy trail. The turnoff to the climbers trail to the summit is well marked, a bit south of where most climbers seem to turn uphill. Great views from the top, clear, but with one fire still burning to the northwest. Windy.
Met 11 through-hikers, all southbound, hoping to get through before the snows arrive.
