Ascent Trip Report

A quick afternoon hike from the lafayette campground, up past the lonesome lake hut, up the fishin jimmy trail to the kinsman ridge. Did both peaks on a beautiful clear day with 360 degree views from the south summit, and good views of the ridge line from the North. More up and down on this one that I expected. The chimney between the two mountains, at the bottom of the col was easier than I expected. I took the bypass route to the right which was still fun, but a slightly lower grade. More difficult going down (to east) than coming back up.
