Ascent Trip ReportIt was very windy! But there is a nice, unmaintained trail all the way to the top from Dantes Peak ("trailhead" at Dantes View). If you think you've lost the trail, you probably need to move up (shouldn't happen until you get to the rocky area closer to the summit). The view of Greenwater, the Death Valley Salt Pan, and Furnace Creek areas is great, and you can see Ryan Camp nestled in the borax deposits to the northeast.
