Ascent Trip Report

A lot of graupel on Kit Carson Avenue, but it was never an issue. I exited the Avenue one broad gully sooner than the one recommended on 14ers.com. It's likely a little steeper than the standard, but appeared to be more solid. I saw the standard on my way down, but declined because it had a lot more loose dirt and rock. I don't remember my gully exceeding "difficult class 2", though a few parts were steep enough to get your attention.
