Ascent Trip ReportThe very summit of the Magnolia neighborhood in Seattle is a large private house. The brick pillar next to the driveway on West Barrett Lane says "No Trespassing", which is a bit unusual for the area and makes approaching the large residence up on the hill beyond a bit intimidating. The detailed topographic maps show that the driveway entrance is about 15 feet lower than the top of the hill at the base of the house, so I don't feel comfortable claiming this one using the "head higher than HP" rule or the "ground modified by man-made works" rule.
Still a fun bike ride. 33 miles total: Kirkland/520/Burke-Gilman/Magnolia Hill/Ballard Locks and back to Kirkland the same way.
