Ascent Trip Report

Took the east gully up, and the standard route down. I do not recommend the east gully unless it is filled in with snow. When it is snow free as it was today, it is just "poop" scree, loose dirt and loose talus. Not fun until I was out of the gully and on the more solid rock. Trip reports indicate that the summit block is class 3. I'd say it's more hard class 2 personally.

Had some route finding issues on the way back, which probably added a good 30 to 45 min. Other than that and my poor choice of the east gully up, it was a great trip. Had the whole peak to myself and the views were outstanding today!
